Well last week I managed to get two finishes. I finished the Tranquility top. It finished 60x60. It will be put in stack of tops I need to quilt. I have been quilting but since I have done quilted my first top I haven't been able to get one of mine on the frame. My mom has been busy and keeps giving me tops and now she has recruited a few of her quilting friends to also keep me busy with their tops...........lol.
I also finished this quilt for my niece that my sister started. Mom was supposed to quilt this one with the machine before she decided to give it to me. But when mom gave me the machine she also gave me the quilt. It came out pretty cute considering it was made by beginners who at the time were just getting started and didn't know how to so a straight line and one of those beginners was me :). The lighting on the pictures aren't the best,I just loaded the frame today with one of mom's quilts. I hope to have it quilted by end of next week since I won't be home this weekend to do any work on it. I am taking a trip to North Carolina to visit with my son at his Marine School.
You know you are loving it! Besides you forget that you quilted 2 quilts of your own before you even did one of mine. Spirit's quilt is a bonus - neither yours nor mine nor a paying one.
