So there is nothing new on my design wall and the saints quilt is still on the machine. My son arrived in from Navy for his leave on Wednesday and since then its been busy busy (not a good pic) I will be meeting him and his girlfriend tonight for supper along with our other 4 kids. The only one that will be missing will be my son that is experiencing Marine boot camp right now (yes if you counted correctly between my husband and I we have 6 kids).We will miss him and think of him as we eat but I am going to take lots of pics to send him because it is a rare occassion to get us all in one place at same time with ours and the kids hectic schedules. :)
Here is a pic of the center of the quilt that i have quilted so far. Considering its only been 15 min here and there that I can work on it I think I made pretty good progress. I have only been quilting for a 2-3 years. I just started doing my own quilting recently and they have been all quilt as you go quilts. This is my first attempt at doing a whole quilt myself.
One last thing My mom (who is the greatest) 
went on the Louisiana shop hop and she got me this template of fleur de lis in a square from one of the hops. it is perfect to fit in my setting triangles. Thanks mom.
