Design Floor Wednesday.



Sunshine and Shadow



I haven't posted in a while.  Been quite busy.  I didn't get to put my design wall (actually design floor) on Judy L Design wall Monday post but for today it will be Design Wall Wednesday.

This is the quilt I am working on now.  I made the same quilt but lap version last year for my secret pal in my local quilt guild.  A friend of a friend of a friend saw it and asked if I would make them a twin size version.  She wanted the exact same fabrics.  It took me a while but I was able to locate the fabrics on line.  I had purchased the original fabric 3-5 years ago and now they are no longer available.  Thank goodness for the internet as I was able to find enough of them to go with what i have left from the first quilt to make the size I need.





Leader/Ender Blocks



My 2-1/2 strip bin was over flowing so while I am working on the quilt above I started making this quilt as Leader/Ender project.  It will be for the camper but my husband told me that I have to start making the camper quilts bigger so that him and I can get under any one of them together.  The twin size ones he said aren't wide enough.  Maybe he should snuggle closer......lol.
