Chocolate Dreams

Last night after supper I did nothing but sew.  I finished the border on the Note to Self Quilt from Judy L pattern.  I also got Another top complete. I am calling it I had already sewed 4 sections together on this one and all I had left to do was sew the quadrants together and add borders.  I call it Chocolate Dreams.  It is made from the Sunshine and Shadow Pattern from Tradition with a Twist by Blanche Young & Dalene Young Stone.  This is for my secret sister's christmas present for our guild.  She mentioned her colors were earth tones and I had a 5 yard bundle of sepia/browns I had bought my first year I went to quilt festival in Houston 3 years ago.  I thought they would be perfrect for her.  Here is my problem though.  My secret sister is a very good longarm quilter.  She has won many ribbons for her quilting.  I am going to quilt this one myself on the midarm as soon as I get my play quilt off.  I am going to quilt it with a simple pantograph of leaves in the middle.  Haven't decided about the borders yet.  I hope I don't screw it up too bad.

After while Crocidile
