This weekend was a very busy one. We spent most of the day Saturday morning helping my dad put a roof on his garage he is building. Then Saturday after noon we went to mom's and picked up my birthday present. When we got home my DH put it together. Sunday I spent 4 hours trying to figure out how to thread and fix the machine so it didn't rats nest on bottom. Mom didn't have the instructions readily available so I was on my own. But I am more of a hands on girl anyway so instructions weren't needed just a lot of determination and Voila I had it working perfectly by noon. You know the saying nothing in life comes free............well after reading my mom's blog this morning that seems to be the case lol as she has said that I will be quilting all of her and Ms Pam's quilts. I don't mind though mom has always been there when I needed her the most and I would do anything for her.
Well on to what we are here for - my design wall.
a
Good job...as Pape would say -Who is that quilt for? ME! Don't worry-Ms Pam isn't likely to finish a quilt in the next 5 years. She makes one/half block and goes on. LOL As for me, I have 3 waiting for you to get good...practice Baptist Fans and feathers on those practice quilts I gave/loaned you.
ReplyDeletewow - love how this looks - love the white!
ReplyDeleteI need a few days all to myself!! Love your quilt.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I am a hands on type myself and spend much time looking at the manual for my machines and not seeing anything I can comprehend. Glad you are up and running!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are going to be busy. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteThere's a Yahoo! group dedicated to this setup. If you're interested, do a search on Yahoo! Groups. The people on the list are great and are extremely helpful. I did notice that you have your take-up roller (inside the machine) turning the wrong way, just FYI :o)
ReplyDeleteI love the narrow sashing. It REALLY sets off you quilt. GREAT JOB!
