DESIGN WALL MONDAY - 10/11/10

Well Design Wall monday is here.  I didn't get much sewing done this week due to the trip to South Carolina but it was well worth the trip.  I would like to introduce ya'll to my son my marine PVT G. J. Pitre.  I am a proud momma.  He will be with us for 24 days and then to NC for combat training.  I am so proud of my two boys for serving this great country and providing us with the freedoms we sometimes take for granted. 

I did get some sewing done on Saturday.  My mom had these two dresden plates that she had done as practice for her project she is working on now but it was missing the center.  She wasn't going to do anything with them so I took one of them.  Below is what I have done with it so far.  I will add a few borders to it and make it into a wall hanging for the living room.

    You should be a proud mama. I would be too :) As a military child and wife I have only the greatest respect for those who serve to protect our freedoms.

    My DGS, Gavin, looks so handsome! I am so proud of him and Lance too.That will look good on my table so bring it back and get other one.
